Mr. Jason B. Stinson serves as the Managing Member, Principal, and Qualifying Broker of Commercial Realty Services of Alabama, LLC. Mr. Stinson also serves as the Managing Member of Conservation Easement Advisors, LLC. Mr. Stinson has held a real estate sales license in Alabama since 1993, and has held a real estate brokers license since 1997. In 1996, Mr. Stinson obtained the coveted and prestigious CCIM Designation in commercial real estate, considered the PhD. Of Commercial Real Estate, and conferred by the CCIM Institute, which is part of the National Association of Realtors, after a candidate takes a rigourous course curriculum, passes a comprehensive exam, plus completes twenty commercial transactions within a compressed time period. CCIMs represent an elite force of approximately 15,000 of the approximate 125,000 commercial real estate practioners. Mr. Stinson holds a real estate license in several states. Mr. Stinson graduated from Jacksonville State University with an undergraduate degree In Business Management with honors, and a M.B.A. from Jacksonville State University with honors. Mr. Stinson also attended law school at Birmingham School Of Law.
In 2011, Stinson was named an adjunct faculty member for Jacksonville State University’s College Of Commerce And Business Administration. Stinson has served his community in a number of ways. Stinson was named the youngest Honary Member of the Retired Senior Volunteer Program of Etowah County. Stinson assisted RSVP by assisting in their Drug Prevention Programs, and providing volunteer assistance in filling out income tax returns for the Elderly. In addition, Stinson served United Way Of Etowah County in a number of ways as an Allocations Panel Member, and in a leadership role in the annual fund raising program. Stinson has also served on the Boys and Girls Clubs Of Northeast Alabama as one of its youngest Board Members ever. Stinson also served as a volunteer business consultant with Junior Achievement for four years, teaching business leadership to High School Students at various schools in Etowah County. In addition, Stinson currently sponsors an annual scholarship to attend college for Seniors at Gaston High School, and serves on their scholarship selection committee, his alma matter. Stinson has served for six years on the Board Of Directors of the state-wide Alabama CCIM Chapter for commercial real estate professionals. Stinson was recently appointed to serve on the Board Of Visitors, similar to a Trustee Board for Jacksonville State University College Of Commerce and Business Administration. Governor Bob Riley appointed Stinson and re-appointed him again to serve on the Gadsden Civil Service Board which hires and fires and disciplines the City’s Fire and Police Departments and he continues to serve today and has served over six years. Stinson is the youngest member of the Gadsden Civil Service Board. Stinson joined the Magic Moments organization based in Birmingham, which provides wish granting to children with life altering or life threatening medical conditions.
Stinson currently, owns and operates wholly or as an equal partner twenty seven separate companies which he founded individually or with partners, and he serves as managing member, director, or president of twenty four of those companies. The companies own commercial and residential investment real estate, there is a commercial real estate services and brokerage company, and a vacation rental and management company. The companies own in excess of twenty five parcels of real estate in two states. Mr. Stinson is a principal and serves in executive management capacity for twenty four different real estate related entities. The entities are divided into distinct business types. The first is a commercial real estate brokerage and third party services company, Commercial Realty Services Of Alabama, LLC. CRSA specializes in providing third-party real estate services including leasing, property management, sale of investment and income properties, general brokerage, and site selection for retailers. The second business focus is many of the companies acquire, own, and manage investment properties leased to national and regional tenants with a primary focus on retail properties. The third business is the companies develop single-tenant and small retail properties to hold in their portfolio.
